TESTING GROUND : IDENTITY



Have you got an idea or project you need help with, or do you need suggestions of how to get it off the ground? ...Would you like to experience a live event at which artists and creatives share their ideas for feedback and insights? ...An event encouraging the creation and nurture of innovative arts projects in a changing political and financial landscape.

Testing Ground is a live event where creative people can receive feedback, support and mentoring on a creative project or idea from a panel. Their first event took place last November and with another one in the pipeline an identity was needed. 

For the logo, it was important to convey the idea of testing without using an image that would misrepresent the idea of the project (so staying away from scientific or mathematical visuals). The final logo design uses the icon which represents a crash test dummy to reflect the testing concept.

As well as a logo, some promotional visuals were also needed. Like the logo, the artwork was intended to reflect the concept of testing so I used dashed lines and icons to give the sense of a blueprint and a map.
