STEPHEN KING INSPIRED PRINTS

I've created three Stephen King inspired illustration/graphics based on his classic novels - Pet Sematary, Misery and Carrie. After first making Pet Sematary in Adobe Illustrator, I decided to create a couple more Stephen King based designs and get them printed. The final prints are 148mm square (nearly 15cm), and printed digitally in white ink (which has an opaque ink, making the printed areas look slightly metallic) onto 300gsm coloured card. I'm thrilled with the final prints and want to create more!

• Season 3 of Rick and Morty is here! Even if you've never watched any Rick and Morty you still might be able to appreciate this trippy animated trailer.

• 'In a Heartbeat' is a sweet short animated film by Beth David and Esteban Bravo.
  A closeted boy runs the risk of being outed by his own heart after it pops out of his chest to chase down the boy of his dreams.

• The Serpentine Dance directed by the Lumiere Brothers was recorded in 1896 and each frame was hand painted with colour.

• A disturbing discordant rubber chicken head chorus created by the suction of a vacuum cleaner - This really made me laugh (more because of the guys expression).

• Another humour related post - People who tried to take panoramic shots and ended up opening the gates of hell (via swissmiss).

• Chinese Airline's new haute couture uniforms put other airlines to shame. 

BOURNEMOUTH YOUTH MARCHING BAND : FLYER

The Bournemouth Youth Marching Band is a traditional band based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Using the bands colours of blue and yellow, I created a new flyer that would appeal to young musicians and recruit them into the band.

30TH INVITE : PARTY IN THE PARK

A good friend of mine celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday so for the event I put together the invitation for the 'Party in the Park'. I've carried out design work previously for Kheyla's company, Mother Nature's Recipes, and she's always a dream to work for. She gives me a lot of freedom to be creative and her great feedback always helps to create something we're both happy with.

I had fun creating this invite as I love illustrative graphic projects and would love to take on more. If you're after an invitation for a special occasion or even just want a nice banner/image for a Facebook event, please feel free to get in touch.

SESSION HUB : NEW LOGO

A new logo designed for upcoming startup Session Hub, who's aim will be to provide a recording studio service that is tailored individually for clients. Session Hub approached with a rough concept which I translated into a contemporary and simple yet memorable logo.
